About
The Timothy Leadership Conference was founded by Dr. Darrell W. Cummings of Wheeling, WV in 1999. It was designed to encourage, enlighten, empower, and strengthen leaders using the Paul and Timothy concept. As Paul mentored Timothy we mentor each other. The conference is held every week after Easter. The invitation is given to leaders who are young and old to come together from Wednesday through Saturday to learn as well as teach how to help reach the community for Christ. Each year it features three main speakers who have been successful in bringing youth and adults to Christ to speak at an evening service and to teach a seminar for one on one contact with the attendees of the conference. Experts also come to teach in areas such as, music, finances, witnessing, using the computer for Christ, and other topics during the daily sessions.
For the past 13 year’s the Timothy Leadership Conference has been held in Wheeling, WV at Bethlehem Apostolic Temple where Dr. Cummings is the pastor. He was led of the Lord and along with Bishop James Hailey and the delegates to bring the 14th and 15th Annual Timothy Leadership Conference to Cleveland, OH. The Lord led him again with the help of Bishop James Hailey and Bishop William F. Todd, Sr. to bring the 16th Annual Timothy Leadership Conference to Philadelphia, PA for the first time. God has continued to lead Dr. Cummings, Bishop Hailey, and the delegates to the Cleveland area and this year for the first time it will be held in Elyria, OH.
